Women Helping Women was born 5 yrs ago. By a small group of women who felt they had something to offer women who were going through life changing experiences. With their combined life experiences, financial means, and most of all their desire to support tomorrows women, they have and will make a difference in many life's.
From this grew something much greater than ever imagined. And now today, they find they can help so few, with so many in need. We are now reaching out to other women to help.. your neighbor, your friend, or even a stranger. Standing by another women, can empower you, knowing that you have made a difference, in the life of another .
Our goal is to give women back real strength, get them back to a time when we where the true keepers of humanity Back to a time when women supported each other in their time of need. It was not long ago when a new life was coming into the world.. a women put her life in the hands of another women, to bring her and her child through childbirth. Or when the crops failed, and your family was hungry, it was always another women who baked bread, brought you vegetables from the garden, so your children would not go hungery.That was a time when women held true power, by making a difference in another woman's life. We can do that today,each and everyone reading this, you can be that women
We come together when a major disaster happens, but we miss so many everyday problems facing women. Take time to help a women get control back in her life, and you will see the rewards in your compassion.
These are things YOU can do on your own, or start a woman's group, or join us and support what we are currently doing. Those we help today, will remember, the kindness shown to them and will one day show that same compassion to another. It is what makes women who we are, and our goal is to encourage others to find there way back, to women helping women.
